Clean, well-appointed, great location, convenience and friendliness of booking. A lovely apartment with heaps of light which easily accommodated four adults. I will stay there again without doubt.
Apartment was a good size and had a working kitchen and laundry. It was also very central and close to public transport.
Bed bugs - we have small bites on our feet that we didn't have prior to arrival. Lack of parking. No air conditioning. Long narrow corridors for access to room. Staff were unorganised - we stayed two nights and had to get a new access card for each night we stayed. Too make it even better they had changed the access code to the key box in between the time we booked and when we arrived but no one told us! How hard would it have been to email or text the change to us or to activate the access cards for 2 nights instead of one?
Very accessible, quiet and spacious. Good to be there over the weekend as parking was straightforward. Might be a problem during the week.
A little anxious about access (without any person around) but once sorted it was good to be free to come and go.
great location handy to everything and was a surprisingly quiet location
Good well-appointed facility. Clean and very conviently located.
All good and as expected.
really nice spa bath and friendly staff
wifi line didn't reach the room.
I enjoyed being in the central part of the town that has a vast choice of excellent restraunts..close to supermarket, close to the seafront ,art galleries, museum, shops. Transport services to the doorstep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!buses taxis. Lots of friendly people and it felt very safe. I had my 80 year old parents with me and they were very happy about the location and the quality of accommodation. Had a hickup with a leak in the kitchen, this left us unable to use our sink for a night and we were told we would be recieveing a discount / credit for this inconvenience. I would recommend this place to friends and family and would like to come back again myself
In our unit..unit 8... I would have liked to have seen a rail on the wall by the two steps up to the kitchen as I had elderly parents with me and I observed them struggling with them at times. Also just remembeered that the glass top on the coffee table and especially the dining table that the glass is moving because the rubber stoppers were missing on them.
The apartment we got was great, very suitable nice lay out of the kitchen, lounge out door area, it is great for entertaining with friends . Very handy having that washing machine and dryer, even tho we stayed there 1night. Kitchen was lovely,Best Location in town! For the price we payed it is well worth staying there. Better than any motel or back packers place, if there are a few of you just split the bill. Thank you Courtney Village i will most certainly be coming back.
No car parking :( But thats only round the corner anyway.
It was very handy in town and trains you could walk everywhere.
The beds were uncomfortable and the decking wasn't clean and windows. Had no instructions on how to use the washing machine and dryer. not many sky chaneel choices on the tv.
Centrally located. Very clean and tidy. Great amenities with washing machine, drier and dish washer etc
Parking presented a problem by having to park in Alpha street around the back of the apartment. Our car was vandalised over night. The beds are cheap. Felt every spring. The TV should come with binoculars. 14 inch TVs are museum pieces these days? Was surprised that no reception was available. Was this mentioned when booking? If so I missed reading it.
We came to party for my mates 21st so the location was amazing, and the room was really well set out and had everything we needed, thanks for a great stay we will defiantly be coming back, oh and the shower was AMAZING :)
Loved the room and location was great.
But we did have abit of problem with no reception, as one of us locked herself out of room early hours of the morning and had to wait outside for two hours in her pjs before someone opened front door. Do not forget your key!!!!
The hot water cylinder was leaking and clearly had for along time yet we were booked into that apartment.
The staff I contacted were extremely helpful and courteous and the small matter rectified almost immediately. We found the location great. Easy access to Te Papa, transport, food and beverage outlets while being able to return to the very quiet and peaceful apartment.
A very minor aspect but we thought the kitchen could have a few more utensils - tin opener, carving knife etc. And a few more glasses - including wine glasses!!
The water cylinder was too small for a unit capable of hosting 4 adults (2 double beds). It is unbelieavable the water heater is not bigger and/or the unit is not on gas. It is not fair the water cylinder can only cope with 2 or 3 short showers. The unsecure carpark at the rear of the building made it very noisy on Friday night with drunk people drinking, singing, yelling and urinating. Very unpleasant
